Fitment

Is the 30 HP right for your boat?

Best suited to

Family day boats & coastal RIBs

Typical boats

RIBs 4.5 – 5.5 m, day cruisers, workboats and dive tenders

Expected performance

25 – 35 knots on a suitable hull

Comfortable load

4 – 6 people with kit

Step by step

How to measure your transom

  1. 01With the boat level, measure vertically from the top centre of the transom down to the lowest point of the hull directly below it.
  2. 02A measurement around 15" needs a short shaft (S), 20" a long shaft (L) and 25" an extra-long shaft (UL).
  3. 03Allow for a jockey or transom bracket if fitted — the bracket height is added to the transom measurement.
  4. 04This engine is supplied as Long shaft (20"). Send us your measurement and we will confirm before we dispatch.
