The terms that apply when you buy from Solent Marine Outboards.

1. About us

Solent Marine Outboards Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, trading from Hamble Point Marina, School Lane, Hamble-le-Rice, Southampton SO31 4NB, United Kingdom.

2. Prices and currency

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT at 20%. Delivery charges are shown separately in the basket before you place your order. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and will always contact you before proceeding if a listed price was incorrect.

3. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed once we confirm stock and accept your order in writing. If an engine is unavailable we will offer an alternative or cancel and refund in full.

4. Payment

Payment is taken by secure card payment or bank transfer against an invoice issued for the exact order value. We never store full card details. Goods remain our property until payment clears in full.

5. Delivery and risk

Delivery terms are set out in our delivery policy. Risk passes to you on delivery. Estimated delivery times are given in good faith and are not guaranteed.

6. Cancellation and returns

Your cancellation and refund rights are set out in our returns policy and are not affected by these terms.

7. Warranty

New engines are supplied with the manufacturer’s standard UK warranty, subject to correct registration, commissioning and servicing. Warranty does not cover misuse, corrosion from lack of flushing, incorrect fuelling, or damage from unauthorised modification.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law. Otherwise our liability is limited to the price paid for the goods.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to its courts’ jurisdiction.
